Yakuza 3 Remastered
A year after the Kanto-Kansai all-out war, Kazuma Kiryu and Haruka Sawamura have left the unforgiving streets of Kamurocho for the island of Okinawa to run the Morning Glory Orphanage. Despite his efforts, shadows of Kiryu's past threaten to entangle the Morning Glory Orphanage in a deadly power struggle involving the Tojo Clan and political world.
Thus begins a dramatic tale set in the 'sleepless city' of Kamurocho in Tokyo and the tropical lands of Okinawa. Can Kiryu rescue the children of the orphanage from the looming threats emerging from the depths of the underworld and state power?

If your CPU cannot run 'AVX instructions' this game, as well as Yakuza 4, 5 and 6, will not work. Even if your PC can run many high performance AAA games this will make no difference. Kiwami 2 runs great without AVX so I'm hoping whoever is doing the PC port for this game and the sequels will have the courtesy to fix this in the near future.

The first great jump to the "next gen" of the franchise (ignoring Kenzan!, which was an spin-off), it really shows with how far it goes (for the time) to up the spectacle, the visual flair, and everything new it tries to do. Not everything lands, and if you come from the Kiwamis it will feel a bit rough around the edges, but it's a game with SOUL and it shows. Also, please look up the original intro on youtube, the original song won't disappoint!

When Kiryu finally does what he always wanted, bad things happens. This game is as good as any Yakuza game out there, though, it feels a little dated gameplay wise, is still a really enjoyable experience and should not be skipped (as any Yakuza really) if you follow the story.
