About Deathloop

About this game

Get your DEATHLOOP Steam PC key now to experience this FPS title by Arkane Lyon, the team behind Dishonored, in which you’ll play as Colt, a man stuck on the island of Blackreef repeating the same day for eternity. It is up to you to find a way to break the loop and free Colt.

Roguelike Gameplay

Every time you complete a day or die on Blackreef, the day will reset, and Colt will retain all memories — to find a way to escape Blackreef, you’ll have to explore the ever-looping island in search of information on how to break the loop. Information is your strongest ally, as you’ll need to learn how to manoeuvre around the island in order to slay as many Visionaries as you can.

Break the Loop…

How to break the loop? This is the question that you, as Colt, must answer so you may finally be free. You’ll be in charge of killing the eight visionaries — Charlie, Fia, Frank, Julianna, Harriet, Egor, Aleksis, and Wenjie — all in the span of one day. How you do it, is what you will learn with every new death. And once you know, it’ll be up to you to formulate the right strategy.

Or Protect the Loop

Invade other players’ worlds, as you’ll be able to play as Julianna and ensure that you protect the loop at all costs. Foil Colt’s plan to break the loop by killing him as many times as it takes to force him to concede. Earn numerous levelling-up rewards that will empower your Julianna and unlock some of the best tiers to protect the loop.

Steam Deck Compatibility

Take the loop that has befallen Blackreef with you on the go, as DEATHLOOP is a Steam Deck Verified title! Now you get to explore the island and play wherever you need to leave the comfort of your home, and plug back in to play once again on the PC!

Bought it in the bundle and sink 30h on it, there is a lot to do in the game, lots of extra side quest, puzzle are fun, and since it come from Arkane which made Dishonor franchise, this game got that extra kick if you really want to scratch that ick of playing with guns and so much build variety you can try on

"Deathloop" is a unique and stylish first-person shooter with a captivating time-loop concept, set in a beautifully designed 1960s-inspired world. It offers engaging storytelling, intriguing characters, and a dynamic gameplay loop where you assassinate targets while retaining knowledge between runs. However, the repetitive nature and challenging difficulty may not appeal to everyone, and the multiplayer aspect can be divisive. Overall, it's a fresh and innovative addition to the genre for those who enjoy unique gameplay experiences and stylish narratives.

Very unique game and concept. Definitely heavy on stealth but like other Arkane games if stealth fails you can always start blastin'.

I have had this game on my watch list for some time, as I knew I was going to like it, but even still this game managed to really surprise me! It took me about 24 hours to complete the loop, but if you are a completionist like me there will be a good few more to come to collect everything available! As for the gameplay; I think almost everything is done perfectly. They way they implemented the loop mechanic, how you try and piece it all together, and how replaying the same level over and over again just still has not gotten boring in the slightest! This is all due to what feels like an infinite ways to approach the same goal, allowing you to play around with the perks and weapons you find along the way. The only slight gripe I have is with some of the perks in the game, as there is one that is too much like it should be within your base ability set (looking at you double jump!) and another one that just feels like it has 0 uses in the game what so ever, because when you finally get the higher grade version to actually help you out it already lost all it's value due to how quickly you lose the need of the currency of this game. Those 2 perks aside, this game is genuinely a must play if you just want a neat chaotic playground with a 20+ hour story attached to it!

I was honestly surprised, i had heard a lot of hype around this game, and when I played it I understood that hype. without any spoilers to the game, it is a time travelling sort of....masterpiece of a shooter. Be careful, you are not invulnerable to bullets, but this realism and plotting during valuable seconds ticking away is definitely what the designers wanted. Music is palatable, and the characters were actually very likeable and well made.
