Character Interactions and New Scenarios
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ transforms Morimiya City into a vast, interactive cityscape. The player has the chance to interact with various characters, build relationships, forge alliances, upgrade equipment, and even engage in mini-games. Following the main story, you can delve into unique tales of the Wielders that were previously unexplored, leading to a fresh quest, prolonging the adventure.
Exciting New Modes and Characters
The game introduces new playable characters, including the enigmatic knight, White Shroud, who wields unrivalled strength and the powers of light. Alongside these new characters are new monsters, dungeons, and formidable bosses. The addition of new modes like 'Time Attack' and 'Boss Rush' further enhance the dynamics of the gameplay. This is a very interesting game, it reminds me quite a bit of Caligula Effect. I enjoyed the combat and dungeon crawling. The characters are also rather interesting. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it definetly gets my recommendation

Honestly kinda unplayable. 1990s era graphics and animations, super weeby themes with no real substance - if you could click faster through dialogue it'd be a ton better, but it's just a slog. If you like the 'slice of life high schoolers/suddenly there's monsters' trope it may be your jam, but it's pretty barebones.

I love JRPGs like the Persona series, so when I saw Tokyo Xanadu eX+ I thought it would be something I'd enjoy. It's not a terrible game by any means, but I got about 8 hours into it before I lost motivation to continue. The story was OK, but didn't stray too far from anime/JRPG tropes. The battle system wasn't really my cup of tea - it wasn't horrible but it wasn't enough to keep me going. As you can probably gather from how I'm describing the game, this ended up being very middle of road, average, meh for me. I might go back and finish it someday, but I'm not in any rush.
If I was able to pick a "neutral" recommendation, that's what I would do, but since I'm forced to choose I have to say that I would not recommend this game.

Great chill music from the beginning. Runs extremely well, even on relatively low-powered machines. The story is pretty simple to follow, which maybe good depending on what you're looking for. Would recommend this and othe Nihon Falcom - developed titles.

Dungeon crawler. Real-life problems. Better graphics. If you've played JRPGs, pick this up. It's at about 60 hours, but the game will tell you to play it twice. Be wary of that. Other than the time, it's great.
