I know this game will get much better over time just as the second game did, but rn it does feel a little on the lacking side.
The prologue campaign is quite possibly the greatest tutorial for a total war game ever made and is perfect for easing new comers into the game. The main campaign however, feels much easier not expand on most campaigns... The chaos gates are more annoying than fun and playing multiple campaigns in this same style can feel quite repetitive.
I'm still loving the game and I know it will be just as good as the second entry once immortal expires is released and a few optimization patches have fixed some frame rate and graphical issue's.
If you're a Warhammer/Total War addict like myself you will still really enjoy this game despite the shortcomings.

"-dx11" to my properties tab on steam under launch options my experience has been great. Can't wait for Immortal Empires and modding support to be released.

I’ve played several factions so far and the only issue I had was with the legions of chaos where it crashed on me when I was 160 turns in for some reason.

If you are absolutely tired of Warhammer 2 and want something new for Warhammer this is a buy. Warhammer 2 is more feature complete for the price and has a extensive sandbox mode while Warhammer 3 only has a narrative campaign (and a couple mini coop campaigns). The Warhammer 2 narrative campaign (The vortex) does not punish the player for not participating while Warhammer 3 requires a lot of player intervention to not lose if you want to avoid the realms of Chaos. Warhammer 3 also came with plenty of performance issues and annoying bugs. I do recommend the game but I feel for most people this a wait for a sale or for the release of the combined map.
