Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it.

The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.
On the border between the worlds, two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.

- Rise in the name of Chaos Undivided as the immortal Daemon Prince, leading the Legion of Chaos. Create your own unique daemonic design, and unleash the combined power of the four Chaos Gods upon your enemies!
- Earn Daemonic Glory, a currency specific to the Daemon Prince.
- Trade your Daemonic Glory for new attributes, weapons, spells and stat boosts.
- Customise your own unique combination of artefacts, abilities and appendages.
- Create terrifying armies from Daemonic units of each of the four Chaos Gods.

Currently the game is good but has a limited number of factions, but once the immortal empires campaign is released this upcoming summer, this will become the greatest strategy game creative assembly has released to date. Strongly recommend buying the first and second game if you haven't done so already.

Game gets a lot of hate from players. But my opinion is it's a well done game which I find is a nice break from TWW2. Favourite faction at the moment is Tzeentch. Really cool and fun faction to play, lots of new and interesting mechanics added into the game.
Game has been updated from CA to fix souls race, balancing etc.
Looking forward to years of DLC and updates from this game.
All the bad reviews are mostly from people upset about Immortal empires not yet released in game. (My opinion is people are impatient and can't wait for a good thing). Programming a map to the scale of Immortal empires takes a lot of time, especially with all the changes to mechanics and balancing.
Base game is good on its own. And future updates will just make this game better and better over time.
