Game is a fun strategy game with exciting battles. Only complaint is how long its taken for them to release Immortal empires. Chaos Realms are okay but if thats not your thing, there are mods that remove that function.

Total War has always been a respectable IP. Even with some titles falling well short of their potential either in terms of production value or even the core gameplay elements, there has never been a point where I doubted CA’s understanding of what made their products unique and exceptional.
With the Warhammer series, CA found the perfect world in which to bring their sandbox turned-based/RTS style to its apex. I LOVE the depictions and varied flavors of CA’s historical Total War titles, but when I booted up Mortal Empires and was able to send an army of dinosaurs to smash into a horde of rat-men, my enjoyment of Total War doubled.
And now that enjoyment has been refined and expanded once more. Warhammer III, and especially the upcoming Immortal Empires campaign, is the best of CA’s best: immense, passionately developed and maintained, built upon a solid foundation of tried-and-true mechanics, but willing to make some daring changes.
Strategy games are always a case-by-case experience for me, and nothing is ever perfect, but if you are looking for a game to bite into and chew on for a good long time, this is it.

TWW3 is a good game: it has tons of features, beautiful models and environments, large scale battles and demon hordes. It's a good starting point.
Unfortunately, 95% of my time is spent in the "Mortal Empires" sandbox in TWW2, and that's not in the third game. There's also a number of bugs that make parts of combat worse than its predecessor (chariots and unit responsiveness for example). I should have waited to get it, and you should wait until the game is finished.
