Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it.

The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.
On the border between the worlds, two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.
The world stands on a precipice, and a single push will plunge it into cataclysm. There is one who schemes to achieve just that, an ancient figure who desires nothing less than to wield supreme power. But to succeed, he will need a champion…

- Rise in the name of Chaos Undivided as the immortal Daemon Prince, leading the Legion of Chaos. Create your own unique daemonic design, and unleash the combined power of the four Chaos Gods upon your enemies!
- Earn Daemonic Glory, a currency specific to the Daemon Prince.
- Trade your Daemonic Glory for new attributes, weapons, spells and stat boosts.
- Customise your own unique combination of artefacts, abilities and appendages.
- Create terrifying armies from Daemonic units of each of the four Chaos Gods.
- Choose to pledge allegiance to one of the Chaos Gods or remain loyal to Chaos Undivided!

Great game, I am used to playing Civilization games so this wasn’t too far of a leap in terms of learning curves go. Fun game overall with a handful of factions to choose from. The story gets told through each factions campaigns so you’ll need to play them all to get the full picture. Variety of unit types to choose from with their own perks and weaknesses that will vary depending on a number of factors. Overall a fun turn based strategy game in my opinion. I pkayed through the prologue and am on turn 120 of my first play through as a chaos lord.

Love it - well worth buying and playing, but I feel like I'm missing out without a high-end PC. It runs well on medium settings in campaign and battles, but Immortal Empires is unplayable unless you have a tank PC. Sucks, because that's all I wanted the game for. Other than that, game's amazing, best edition of Total War yet, incredible to play. Do it!

ONLY for the (Full Map playthru mode) IE Immortal Empires.
This takes Epic games and turns it up to an eleven.
You will need a competent PC to run this if set to "pretty nice graphics".
The level of detail and geography changes which happen is really nice to watch and they have impacts on Races (as they should).
YOU MUST HAVE all THREE TW games to unlock this mode.
I recommend coming here for the game and all the DLC (you will want Most of it for all the games.
