About Total War: WARHAMMER III

About this game

The coming conflict will engulf all. Will you conquer your daemons? Or command them? It's time to find out with your Total War: WARHAMMER III Steam PC key. In this action strategy from renowned developer Creative Assembly, you'll lead one of four initial races in a gripping war for survival.

CAUSE FOR CHAOS

Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it.

To relinquish your soul to it... to become it.

CHOOSE YOUR ARMY. LEAD YOUR PEOPLE

The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.

On the border between the worlds, two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.

The world stands on a precipice, and a single push will plunge it into cataclysm. There is one who schemes to achieve just that, an ancient figure who desires nothing less than to wield supreme power. But to succeed, he will need a champion…

Choose from nine playable Legendary Lords that will lead your race into battle, and enjoy a wider selection of individual races than any previous Total War: WARHAMMER core title.

"Total War: Warhammer III is a great conclusion to a great trilogy."

"Though it may show the design limitations of the franchise’s aging engine, Total War: Warhammer 3 is a solid conclusion to CA’s foray into fantasy."

Game is great, all the new factions are quite deep and the new map objective is a ton of fun. Looking forward to the sandbox giant map in a couple months. There are a few technical bugs, some path finding issues and optimization problems but devs have identified them as known issues and they're currently being worked on.

As the epic conclusion to the Total War : Warhammer Trilogy has been released, fans will definitely be getting more of what they asked for. 8 vastly different factions, tight battle gameplay, expanded diplomacy and an actually functioning cooperative multiplayer experience. At the moment the game has a few noticeable bugs, odd UI step backs, and an unpopulated Dark Lands (soon to be filled with Chaos Dwarves), but overall, highly recommended for any Warhammer, Total War, or strategy game enthusiast. Plus CA has promised years of continued support and DLC a plenty, so if your favourite faction has yet to be added, it surely will be in the future.

A solid game that feels like a DLC again

Some cool races each with unique and new mechanics, making the new campaigns quite enjoyable ! Though still a lack of engine novelty (game looks the same as first version), a few crashes and annoying graphical bugs still unresolved. And not enough playable races to my liking, though i'm sure we'll get some new ones for 10$ a piece in DLCs.

Absolutely love the game, I would say its by far the best of the 3 Warhammer games available. Simply due to the new Co-op modes with more players. If you have played Totalwar Warhammer before then not much new to review, same game new maps/race. Why is it only 4 of 5* ratings? Load screens are insanely long if you dont have the game on an SSD, some of the new races are pretty difficult to understand or play.

I have been mostly enjoying the game so far. The new playable factions and lords are a great addition to the Total War: Warhammer franchise. There is enough variety in the game in terms of gameplay, atmosphere, units and mechanics to keep the player entertained for hours. There are, however, certain setbacks in the game currently (which I am certain will be addressed in later patches/dlcs, as was the case in Warhammer II) that prevent me from giving it a 5 star rating: the game has a variety of significant bugs that affect gameplay, the current main campaign isn't as enjoyable as the main campaigns of the previous 2 titles and the presence of Denuvo DRM is absolutely a concern. However. with time, I am certain that this game will grow and improve and become, I dare say, the best modern Total War game. I highly recommend any fans of the series, fans of Warhammer Fantasy and fans of strategy games in general to give it a whirl.

An improvement on the previous entries in the franchise. New factions with interesting new mechanics make for a fresh experience even if you've sunk 500+ hours into the previous games. A lot of attention has been paid to the smaller details and thats what makes this game so special. Small performance issues are a bit of a drawback, multiplayer games will sometimes go to a snails pace but this will be promptly fixed with no doubt in my mind. 5/5 would buy again

This game is the perfect example of an evolution in a sequel. It included more of everything. New races, new mechanics, new map, new Quality of life changes, better UI. I wish all game developers could do it like that, since so many sequels out there drop the ball after a fantastic prequel.

A more involved final part to this trilogy, with greater strategic options for sieges and tactical end game play. Alos greater multiplayer options and the forthcoming complete map spanning all three games!
