Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey

Embark on the most incredible odyssey known to humankind... human evolution. In open-world survival game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, you'll embark on a journey spanning from 10 million to 2 million years ago as you see life “Before Us” in Neogene period Africa.

You'll explore a beautiful yet ruthless world from swinging through tree branches in the jungle to stalking prey across the golden savannah grasslands. Decide what attributes to learn and hone in order to pass down knowledge to future generations, from crafting tools to enhancing evasive tactics against predators.

Just like real life, make sure to eat, drink, and sleep to stay alive and have the energy to face any danger that may come your way. Grow your clan and find strength in numbers as you progress through critical evolutionary stages of human evolution.

Your choices will write your clan’s story and determine if you can survive your evolution.

Kerbal Space Program

Kerbal Space Program

In simulation Indie Kerbal Space Program, you need to build a space-worthy craft capable of flying its crew out into space without killing them. At your disposal is a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship.

Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn't). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science!

The game offers three gameplay modes: Sandbox, in which you are free to build anything you can think of; and Science Mode, which lets you perform Scientific experiments to advance the knowledge of Kerbal-kind and further the available technology.

There's also Career Mode, where you must manage every aspect of your Space Program, including administration strategies, Crew Management, Reputation, as well as taking up Contracts to earn Funds and upgrade your Space Center Facilities (or repair them).

The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds

Explore the furthest reaches of space and decide how your story unfolds in The Outer Worlds - the new FPS sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division.

You'll find yourself lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy. In this single-player, player-driven game, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony.

As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

During your journey through the furthest colony, you will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It's up to you to help them achieve their goals, or turn them to your own ends.

XCOM 2

XCOM 2

Sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the 2012 award-winning strategy game of the year, prepare to fight for the human race in the intense turn-based strategy game XCOM 2. Set 20 years after its predecessor, you'll jump into the fight at a point where the aliens have destroyed the planet’s last line of defense, forcing the few human survivors left to band together and fight back.

Recruit your team of soldiers from five different classes, each with its own skill tree, and command specific soldiers for your tactical plan. Use concealment to ambush enemy patrols and loot enemies for precious gear and artefacts.

Look after your team by saving fallen comrades and carrying them to the extraction point, as well as rescuing VIPs. You'll also be able to configure and build rooms on the 'Avenger' to give you new and stronger capabilities on the battlefield.

Use your Scientists and Engineers to research, develop and upgrade weapons and armor to coincide with your preferred tactics. If you want to fight alongside the aliens instead of completely destroying them, you can head over to the multiplayer mode - with mix-and-match squads of humans and aliens and battle head-to-head on randomly-generated maps.

If you want the full package, the XCOM 2 Collection includes the base game, the War of the Chosen expansion and five DLCs!

BioShock Infinite

BioShock Infinite

Rated 'Overwhelmingly Positive' on Steam, BioShock Infinite sees you leave the depths of Rapture to soar among the clouds of Columbia. A technological marvel, the flying city is a beautiful and vibrant world that holds a very dark secret.

You take on the role of U.S. Cavalry veteran and now hired gun, Booker DeWitt, who find himself indebted to the wrong people with his life on the line - with one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. You must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia.

Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets.

Throw explosive fireballs, shoot lightning, and release murders of crows as devastatingly powerful Vigors surge through your body to be unleashed against all that oppose you.

Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Witness the next exciting entry in the popular Civilization franchise with Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, the turn-based strategy where you'll attempt to build an empire to stand the test of time.

In order to establish and lead a civilization from the Stone Age to the Information Age – you will need to wage war, conduct diplomacy, advance your culture, and go head-to-head with history’s greatest leaders as you attempt to build the greatest civilization the world has ever known.

Advancing from its predecessor, Civilization VI cities now physically expand across the map, active research in technology and culture unlocks new potential, and opposing leaders will pursue their own agendas based on their historical traits – as you race for one of five ways to achieve victory in the game.

Civilization VI’s multiplayer mode now allows players to co-operate and compete with one another in an assortment of situations – designed to be completed in a single session.

As well as providing veteran players with new and unique ways to build their civilization for the greatest chance of success, Civilization also includes a brand-new tutorial system specifically aimed at new players.
